What is it like to be in a Homegroup?

We had our home group over last night for the last meeting this year. As we were sitting around the dinner table, talking and laughing, I realized how thankful I am for this group of people. Even though we have just met a couple of times now I really treasure these people. We are all in different life situations, singles, couples with kids, immigrants and residents, but still there is this deeper cause that is connecting us: God. It feels so good to share joys and troubles with each other, to read the Bible and then pray for each other - and I know that everyone keeps on praying individually in the next few weeks, even though we do not see each other. So, in the end it comes to this equation: homegroup = special great community!
